Jim joined Community Care Partners in 2018 as an independent board member. Two years later, he was appointed chief executive officer. Prior to joining Community Care Partners, Jim held executive roles in three different national healthcare and veterinary medicine companies.
Jim started his career at Bank of America as a commercial officer, lending to middle market companies. In the late 80s, he left banking to become a co-owner and CEO of South Coast Rehab Services, a provider of physical, occupational and speech therapy in long-term care settings. Five years later, Jim took on a new endeavor as co-owner and later CEO of Caremeridian, LLC, a provider of inpatient subacute care for catastrophically ill and injured individuals. He helped lead both companies to successful mergers with large, national, publicly traded companies. Immediately prior to taking his current role at Community Care Partners, Jim was chief operating officer of Banfield Pet Hospitals, one of the largest veterinary companies in the world.
Jim holds a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University and earned his Bachelor of Arts from University of Redlands. He has been active in not-for-profit organizations throughout his career, serving as chair of the YMCA of Orange County and more recently chair of the board of trustees for the University of Redlands.
Jim currently resides in Camas, Wash. with his wife, Donna. He enjoys golf, travel, history and spending time with his family.
